Fishermen Boat Was Attacked Near Triton

The Culprit:
Unidentified ship
(Chinese ship suspected) 

Incident:
Owner Được and 10 other fishermen sailed out in the morning of April 16, arrived the fishing area, about 24 nautical miles southeast of Triton island, near Paracel Islands.

Around 11:45PM near midnight, while their boat was mooring and they were sleeping, an unidentified ship suddenly appeared and hitting their boat directly from the stern.

Strong impact caused serious injury to Mr Dũng in the belly area, he couldn't urinate and blood was coming out in place of urine.

The ship was broken at the stern's right side. 

It took them 2 days to bring Mr Dũng back to shore on April 18.


This same owner, Mr Được and his boat was attacked in early of 2014 by China's maritime police. The Chinese broke their equipments, robbed their cache while they were fishing near Paracel Island.
